The exes made their first public appearance since the split in the Dublin suburb of Malahide today as they attended their teenage son Jack’s confirmation.

Redhead Jack, 13, was wearing a pair of grey trousers and matching his shirt, hidden under a leather jacket to shield him from the dismal wet weather as he arrived at the Catholic church.

He certainly looked pleased with his brand new red Supra trainers, which had arrived from Paris in the post that morning.

Proud dad Ronan, 35, and Yvonne both tweeted a photo of Jack’s new trainers and the singer thanked the firm for sending them: ‘Thank u again. A happy boyo.’

Yvonne tweeted: Jack’s confirmation today. These bad boys arrived just in time this morning!!’
