Album Review: Duet - Ronan Keating 9th December 2010
Duet - Ronan Keating
4/5
Keating is on to a winner with this album. His choice of songs - from All for Love to Islands in the Stream - will
appeal to his traditional fan base and his choice of duet partners will appeal to his new X Factor Australia
following.
Released only in New Zealand and Australia, Duet features the Irish crooner joining talents with the likes of fellow X Factor
judge Guy Sebastian, Australian Idol's Paulini, New Zealand's Adeaze and Hayley Westenra and fellow
countryman-turned Aussie Brian McFadden.
There are also previously released tracks with international artists, including Father & Son with Yusef Islam,
formerly Cat Stevens, and We've Got Tonight with Lulu.
Although it's all classic Keating fodder, the standout track is his cover of Jackson and McCartney's Say Say Say with
Adeaze.
It is arguably better than the original, with a slight edge to it, proving that Ronan can rock when he wants to.
