Ronan Keating's Emeralds & Ivy ball to be held in Planit's Supernova structure

Boyzone frontman Ronan Keating has chosen purpose-built venue Supernova in London's Embankment Gardens as the location for this December's Emeralds & Ivy event.

Operated by Planit, the venue will welcome Keating and his VIP guests for an evening of entertainment, food, and auctions.

Previous guests have included Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, Jon Bon Jovi, Alan Shearer, Sir Steve Redgrave and supermodel Jodie Kidd, with past entertainers including Gary Barlow, The Saturdays, Britain’s Got Talent winners Spelbound and Diversity, and Keating himself.

The charity ball raised £730,000 for Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation last year, helping to fund two mobile Cancer Awareness Roadshow units, staffed by specialist nurses and health advisors.

Gem of a ball raises €1m for Keating charity

SINGER Ronan Keating enticed a glittering array of celebrities to a champagne reception to raise almost €1m for the Marie Keating Foundation and Cancer Research UK at the weekend.

Mr Keating helped ensure the guest list for the Emerald and Ivy Ball at London's iconic Supernova, Embankment Gardens, was a 'who's who' of well-known faces from both sides of the Irish sea

Among the 580 personalities who attended Saturday night's ball -- where tables cost €5,800 -- were Mr Keating, his wife Yvonne and their three children, TV presenter and co-host Jenny Frost, Rod Stewart and wife Penny Lancaster, 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Nancy Dell'Olio, Michael Flatley and his wife Niamh O'Brien, singer Leona Lewis and former England stars Alan Shearer and Sol Campbell
