MCHAPPY Day will have international star power behind it today, with US singers Joel and Benji Madden taking part.
The brothers, known as band Good Charlotte, are this year's international ambassadors for McHappy Day and will appear at the state's newest McDonald's store at Darling Quarter.
The brothers will visit between 12.20pm and 12.50pm.
Ronald McDonald House Charities chief executive Malcolm Coutts said the cause hoped to raise $3 million from $2 from every Big Mac sold today.
There are 13 Ronald McDonald houses in Australia and the charity is building five more to help families of sick children.
Other celebrity appearances include Ronan Keating and The X Factor final four at Kingsford, Jack Vidgen at Manly Wharf, and MasterChef contestant Hayden Quinn at Brookvale.
McHappy Day will run in 850 stores in Australia, with 400 celebrities taking part.
